Stiverne vs Arreola

Round 1. Bermaine doesnt throw a punch the first minute. Arreola gets some work in. Bermaine wakes up. Much crisper shots. Arreola lans a few on the ropes but Bermaine biding his time. Stiverne steals round with big combo at end of round 1. Stiverne

Round 2. Arreola a lot more active on those ropes. moving his head a bit. Bermain left hook slows things down. May be his punch tonight. Arreola lead right waked things p but Stiverne looking for holes. Arreola winning round with activity. Stiverne with a BIG right before the bell. Arreola

Round 3. Stiverne comes out with the jab. Has Arreola on the back foot. Arreola has a big push at the 1 minute mark to even up the round. Stiverne changing levels real well but staying on the ropes and letting Arreola score points. Even round.

Round 4. Stiverne takes the center of the ring but Arreola uses the jab again to back his foe to the ropes. Stiverne potshotting and slapping that jab. Arreola fighting in spurts. Stivern helping Arreola by taking steps back. Arreola head first and digging into Stivern. Bermaine relaxed but needs to get active. Arreola

Round 5. Arreola using beautiful footwork to guide his opponent to the ropes. Bermaine using his skills a bit more now. Stiverne getting off the ropes with combos but still taking some time to turn out. Stivern is a step back but needs to step to the side. Stiverne taking this round with movement and precision. Arreola rested up those 3 minutes. Stiverne

Round 6 Arreola goes down on a big hit to the temple from a wide right swoop. Arreola gets up but is hurt big time. Stiverne is not easing up and goes for the kill with some big head shots that turn Arreola around as he goes down again. Ref allows the man to beat the count and continue the fight but steps in seconds later after Stivern puts the exclamtion point and takes the heavyweight belt. Stiverne by TKO.

Arreola did the same as he did the first fight as Stiverne took his time to find the vulnerability that led to his win. Arreola came in fit and ready to bang but lost to a precise puncher that found the button. Stivern versus Wilder is gonna be good. Arreola is on the fence now, but with a weak heavyweight division he can hang around as long as he entertains. Great fight.

The wrath of khan sprayed the internet over the weekend as he conceded that Money will look elsewhere for a dancing partner for May.  Hoepfully we don’t have to wait another year to see Amir in action.

one of the best fights from last year featuring Top Rank stablemates Provodnikov vs Bradley.  A vivid example of Ali’s statement that in a champion their will is always greater than their skill. Fuck yo couch.

Sergei has that caucus power. Dude throws from the shoulders and Ismail takes a nap.  Adonis takes his time and might have been thrown off by the short shorts but Bellew eventually succumbs. Stevenson versus Kovalev on HBO near you in the not too distant future. Montreal always has the funny colored canvas but the rest is with the promoters. These light heavies might have a tournament before we celebrate 2015 and the favorite would probably be Andre Ward.  Go figure.
